I got into Tech! I think hehehe

 Hi Lovelies

Today I will be talking about my switch in careers. I am almost certain that you must have heard that tech money is the new oil money, and to be honest, money is a big motivation for our choice in careers.

Couple of months back, I decided to go into tech but as I studied law, I was of the uninformed notion that all tech jobs required coding or some sort of knowledge of coding. Well, I could not have been more wrong. There are obviously career paths in tech that do not require coding.

I went on google and even typed 'what tech career is for me', some of them were vague, I remember one suggested that I should dabble in 'web development' lol. For those who know me, you would know how very far from the truth that is.

I sha decided to pick product management as it requires no coding. I couldn't be happier with my choice honestly. I started learning the basics of product management and it has been an interesting learn I can't lie. I got into an 8 week internship and workshop on product management.

Hopefully, I can be great at it and start raking in the cash and start spoiling myself. This baby girl needs a break.

I know I say this all the time, but I will do better with posting more. Be patient with me. I think about. posting all the time but block, that's a topic for another day tbh.

Till next time muchachos

I love y'all

bye for now

Rituals and safety of women

 Hi lovelies

This upload would be kind of somber and a tad bit longer! A video circulated last week, in the video a young girl could be seen vibing with her boyfriend in a car. Shortly after the video, the girl was found murdered with her eyes gouged out and her boyfriend nowhere to be found as he was the last person to see her alive.

Now, Nigerians have turned it into an opportunity to preach ‘stay with your broke boyfriend’ or ‘be content’ yada yada yada. I hate when something like this comes up and Nigerian men especially decide that the victim is to be blamed.

Had it been that the girl did not document her last waka with the boy, that’s how people would have termed her ‘olosho’.

Now, Nigerian men are saying stay with your broke boyfriend or stop ‘chilling with the big boys’ but both rich men and broke men do evil killings. In essence, women should stop talking to men abi? This was a man the girl trusted, her boyfriend, her partner! So if she can’t hang with her boyfriend then that is telling on the gender not the woman

Let’s also not act like in this part of the world, poor men are not doing ritual killings to have a taste of wealth and rich men are not doing it to ‘plus up’( that is to stay rich or become richer). Notice how the problem is not the victim because it could be a broke man or a rich man committing the atrocities. These things like HIV are not written on the forehead.

Men perpetuate evil against women and somehow the woman who is a victim is to be blamed. That’s telling on the type of society Nigeria is. We can’t keep blaming the women.

Say she wants to chill with the big boys sef, how’s that a problem? We all want to chill with the big boys because that’s how you make connections to be a big boy too na. As a society, we’ve learnt to size people by their pockets and if they appear to be buoyant, we (men and women alike) begin to twerk on their dicks.

Let’s stop making it a first reaction to blame the injured party/victim, that’s just wrong and does not tell well on your person. It’s giving ‘what was she wearing’ vibes

I hope we as a society do better in protecting our women. And stop victim blaming

I love y’all

Bye for now

Hustle

As a Naija teen, in fact not just teens, to get money from your parents issa real hustle. Some one like me I have to ask my dad for it numerous times before he will send.
You know the stress it took for you to get that money, as you de spend the money, you go do am wisely because you de remember the hustle and you do not want to go through that.
American kids are asked to get a job to get money so that in the process they will learn how to spend, but they need to ask money from Naija parents to know that asking money from them issa mad hustle.
I love my parents on but if you ask my dad to send a substantial amount of money to you, he will tell me this "if  you wear agbada now what will you wear in the future", like I mean wetin concern agbada with the money wey I want.
I mean, people who have graduated from the university with good results have no job therefore leading to no money. Please how do our parents expect us to get money if not from them.
So if people from other nations are dissing you because you still collect money from your parents just smile and tell them how easy they have it at the jobs they do
            Bye
             Ciao

POLITICS PART ONE

Well in Nigeria, you already belong to a political party as per your family or your tribe. If you are a Northerner, you know you belong with the All progressive congress(APC) only a few people are exempt from the rule. Also if you are from the south south like me, you know say na People's Democratic party(PDP) you belong to. Only a few people are also exempt from this rule. Then in the east especially Anambra, you know say na APGA get una. \
Right now, the APC are the ones ruling our dear nation NIGERIA. They claim they are the change Nigeria needs the so called Messiah for our desolate country. They claim to be fighting corruption and recovering stolen money from past government officials. But my guy wait oh, where all the money wey de don recover? I be de of the notion say billions of money don de back in government possession. I mean if they have recovered such huge amounts of money from people, why is our economy as bad as it is right now? I don't mean to be disrespectful towards the dead, but Tafewa Balewa go de curse Nigeria because 5naira cannot even buy “pure water” again.
Also another thing that baffles me about this Nation's politics is the way our so called democracy is practised. The security officials no longer need to have search houses. I mean a ogas like them justices no go fit sleep for night because say SSS wan search again, I mean this is in violation of their rights.

Another thing we should note is that, the man we elected to lead us is notably absent. I wish him a quick recovery if he is sick.
That's all I have to say for now on this issue
bye
ciao
